What is Emaar South, and what can you buy there now?
Emaar South is Emaar's master community in Dubai South, planned around an 18-hole championship golf course next to Al Maktoum International Airport and close to Expo City. Emaar plans 22,700 homes there, 15,360 of them apartments, with 53,000 sqm of retail and dining and 25 neighbourhood parks. Its masterplan also marks a hotel, golf clubhouse, clinic, mosques, a nursery and a K-12 school.
This page covers two of Emaar's 2026 launches on the edge of the course. Golf Fields (launched June 2026) has 181 homes: 1–3 bed apartments plus seven 3-bed townhouses, from AED 1.26M. Golf Trails (launched July 2026) has 161 homes: 1–3 bed apartments plus six 3-bed townhouses; Emaar's live price is now from AED 1,906,888.
Both use an 80/20 payment plan with 10% on booking and 20% on completion, but the instalment dates differ: Golf Fields completes in an estimated September 2030 and Golf Trails in an estimated October 2030.
Where is Emaar South?
Emaar South is inside Dubai South, between Emirates Road and Al Maktoum International Airport. Emaar's Golf Fields and Golf Trails brochures put it 5 minutes from the airport, 30 from Dubai Marina, 35 from Downtown Dubai and 45 from Dubai International Airport; the Golf Trails brochure adds 10 minutes to Expo City.
Where are Golf Fields and Golf Trails inside Emaar South?
Both sit on the northern edge of the golf course, close to each other: Golf Fields is number 33 on Emaar's map, beside Golf Vale (34), and Golf Trails is number 35, next to a hotel site. Around the course Emaar's masterplan marks a golf clubhouse, retail, a clinic, mosques, a nursery, a K-12 school and community and district parks.
What is Golf Trails?
Golf Trails is a ground, podium and ten-floor building of 161 homes on the north-west edge of the course: 55 one-beds, 83 two-beds, 17 three-beds with a study and six 3-bed townhouses. Launch prices started at AED 1.25M in July 2026; on 31 Oct 2026 Emaar.com lists prices from AED 1,906,888 with 15 units available.
Payment plan: 80/20. 10% on booking; 10% each in Sep 2026, Mar 2027, Sep 2027 and Mar 2028; 10% each at 40%, 60% and 80% construction (est. Oct 2028, Mar 2029, Aug 2029); 20% on completion (est. Oct 2030).

What is Golf Fields?
Golf Fields is a golf-front building of 181 homes: 93 one-beds, 59 two-beds, 22 three-beds and seven 3-bed townhouses, from AED 1.26M. Emaar launched it in June 2026 with an 80/20 plan and estimates completion in September 2030.
Payment plan: 10% on booking; 10% each in Oct 2026, Jun 2027 and Oct 2027; 10% each at 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% construction (est. Mar 2028, Sep 2028, Feb 2029, Jul 2029); 20% on completion (est. Sep 2030).
Emaar's key section shows ground, podium and 11 residential floors, with the townhouses at the base and a podium pool deck facing the course. Emaar.com lists the same AED 1,260,000 starting price but shows no live unit count for Golf Fields, so ask us what is left.

Questions buyers ask about Emaar South
Is Emaar South a good investment?
We don't give investment advice, but here are the facts. At Emaar's starting prices, Golf Fields one-beds work out at about AED 1,311–1,593 per sq ft, and Golf Trails one-beds launched at about AED 1,656–1,739. Property Finder's DLD-based data shows 1,557 sales in Emaar South in the past year and an average rental yield of 5.5%.
Earlier clusters such as Parkside and Greenviews are complete and resell as ready homes, and the golf club opened on 5 October 2026 (Gulf News). Both new buildings are 80/20, with completion estimated for September and October 2030. Weigh the premium for new golf-front stock against older Emaar South resale, the airport location and the four-year wait.
What are the service charges at Emaar South?
Not set yet for Golf Fields or Golf Trails: Emaar hasn't published an estimate, and Dubai's RERA approves the rate nearer completion in 2030. Earlier Emaar South clusters are handed over, so there is a reference point. That is an agent-listed figure for a different building, not an Emaar estimate, and buildings with different amenities can have different rates.
Ask Emaar for its estimate before booking, and check the current rate for any ready unit on RERA's Mollak system.
Is the Emaar South handover on track?
Emaar's payment plans estimate construction completion in September 2030 for Golf Fields and October 2030 for Golf Trails, with construction-linked instalments starting at an estimated March 2028 (Golf Fields, 20% complete) and October 2028 (Golf Trails, 40% complete). Both launched in mid-2026, and we haven't found a press report of main construction contracts for either building yet.
Elsewhere in Emaar South, earlier clusters such as Parkside 1–3 and Greenviews 2 are complete and trade as ready homes on Property Finder's DLD-based records, and the 18-hole Emaar South Golf Club opened on 5 October 2026 (Gulf News). The completion date in your SPA is the binding one.
What are buyers asking about Emaar South?
Is Emaar South the same as Dubai South? Emaar South is Emaar's master community inside the wider Dubai South district, next to Al Maktoum International Airport. Is the golf course open? Yes: Emaar South Golf Club opened on 5 October 2026 with a 7,278-yard course, driving range and clubhouse (Gulf News). Will the area mature? Emaar plans 22,700 homes there, earlier clusters such as Urbana, Parkside and Greenviews are complete, and Property Finder's DLD-based data shows 1,557 sales in the past year.
Golf Fields or Golf Trails? Golf Fields' one-beds are larger (791–961 sq ft against 719–755 sq ft); Golf Trails' three-beds include a study. How far is the airport?
