Sobha Realty
Sobha Group was founded in 1976 by PNC Menon, who started with an interior decoration business in Oman; the group now has developments in the UAE, India and the UK. Ravi Menon is Sobha Group Chairman and Francis Alfred is Managing Director of Sobha Realty. Sobha's selling point is 'backward integration': design, engineering, manufacturing and construction done by its own companies rather than outside contractors.
Delivery record: Sobha's investor update of May 2026 lists 8,000+ units and 14 million+ sq ft delivered against 49,000+ units launched (figures as at 30 April 2026, including its Umm Al Quwain joint ventures). Its FY 2025 update says about 3,000 units were completed in 2025, of which about 2,000 were handed over and about 1,000 were awaiting completion certificates, and Sobha says it plans to hand over 6,819 homes in 2026 across Sobha Hartland, Sobha Hartland II, Sobha Reserve, Sobha One and Verde by Sobha. In 2022 Sobha said Sobha Hartland II would start handing over villas in 2025; it has not published a revised villa date.
Sobha reported AED 30 billion of sales in 2025, up 30% on 2024 (company release, 22 Jan 2026). It sells in Dubai, Umm Al Quwain (Sobha Siniya Island, Downtown UAQ) and, since 2026, Abu Dhabi (Sobha City).
