DAMAC Properties

DAMAC Properties was founded in Dubai in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani. It left the Dubai Financial Market in 2022, when Sajwani bought out the remaining shareholders. It reports around 50,000 homes delivered, more than 54,000 under construction and Dh36 billion in sales in 2025 (Gulf News, January 2026).

It often launches branded towers. Chelsea Residences in Dubai Maritime City, built under its partnership with Chelsea FC, released its sixth and final tower in July 2026.

Its record includes delays in the 2008–09 downturn. At Lakeview in Jumeirah Lake Towers, for example, handover ran late and DAMAC said it would compensate buyers under their sales contracts (Gulf News).
